They always appeared to be zombied up on something during my years as a JW.

I know how upset you must be so soon after his death and your reaction to his father is understandable. But I would also encourage you, after you have had time to deal with your grief, to try and understand that the man is his father, albeit a bad father, and you may want to show him some kindness and understanding in the future.
Of course you are under no obligation to do so, but as a father, no matter how displeased and disappointed I might be at my children or they in me, there is still a deep feeling for them that I will carry to my grave.

the dpi is now taking them off the list.
the dpi requested the list removal to be done this morning!!!!!.

So does this mean that in terms of the Beast having relations with the harlot, and the WTS being the harlot (or part of the harlot class as it were), that the Beast has had a premature withdrawal? Is there any scripture that could be cited to support this action by the WTS?

i see so many seeming to be disappointed by the 'un-specialness' of the supplemental meeting yesterday.. i'd like to ask this question, how can it really matter?
deaths due to blood policy.. suicides due to child molestation.
and disfellowshipping.. tearing families apart...just for starters.. part of me wanted to believe so badly that there would be a 'big' issue that would cause the wts to fall, splinter and break into fragments.

Well said. There really isn't much that could happen to change the minds and hearts of the "true believers". My sister and her husband don't believe but attend meetings just for show now and I asked her the other day, "don't you guys feel dirty going to a Kingdom Hall, knowing what you know?"
Just as I would have never dared go into a church when I was a JW, I wouldn't dare step foot into a Kingdom Hall today as a matter of principle. Sure there are a few nice, sincere people there, but the belief system and the organization they follow are corrupt. And as you so rightly pointed out, people do die as a result of it.
just wondering.. i find myself having little mini panic attacks about all this.
now that i have a little one to be responsible for, i am a little nervous.. i am strongly fighting the urge to have my car loaded up with a weeks worth of supplies for us (ie food, gear, clothes, diapers, water) so if something happens big here - i can head out to canada.. warning (haha) be ready my canadian friends - my daughter and i may be joining you.. anyone else feeling these "survivalist" feelings?????.
